Research shows that trust is essential for teams to achieve excellent performance including effective boards. Yet trust is rarely consciously considered in a boardroom setting. This workshop will explore why trust is important and how boards can build up respect – the foundation of trust – for even better decision making. We will consider the particular role of the NED in bringing support and challenge, with a suggested key-action for your next board meeting.
