This workshop provides an introduction to the use of facilitative mediation in the workplace and also in commercial and civil disputes. Areas to be covered include:-

• The benefits of mediation to organisations and to individuals
• The changing workplace
• Sources of workplace conflict
• The process
• The role of the mediator
• The ethics of mediation
• Is there a place for compulsory mediation ?
• Does mediation work ? ( the evidence)

This will be an interactive session with opportunities for questions and discussion.
