Sustainability regulation 101: what, when and how for Guernsey Funds

The session will provide an overview of regulations impacting funds raising capital in the EU or UK (including those using NPPR from Guernsey). This will include the fund reporting requirements introduced by SFDR level 2 in 2023 and also the UK FCA’s consultation on sustainability investment fund labels which will be finalised by June 2023.
We will also highlight some of the different approaches funds are taking to address these requirements and the associated risks or areas of challenge that NEDs may want to focus on.
Finally we will articulate the opportunity for value creation, including some typical actions fund managers are taking which NEDs could start to see more of across their funds.
