This presentation will provide attendees with an insight into the role a mentor can play in the development of Non-executive Directors, from the perspective of both the mentor and the recipient of their mentoring including some tips on how to be a mentor in practice.

Colleen is a Chartered Wealth Manager and fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. She has over 25 years of international experience in the investment, banking and financial services industry working for publicly listed banks; HSBC, Barclays, and Butterfield Bank.
In 2022, she stepped down as Managing Director of a Guernsey based Venture Capital Manager, to focus full time on her Non-Executive Director and investment consultancy work.
Currently she is providing temporary Chief Investment Officer coverage for a UK digital wealth manager.
She is a Non-Executive Director to two Guernsey Fund’s – one listed on the LSE, the other private, and a licensed insurance company, and captive insurance company.
Colleen holds an economics degree from the National University of Ireland (Galway), and MBA from the University of London. She recently obtained her Certificate in ESG investing from the CFA Institute.
An experienced Non-executive Director and mentor. Since his retirement from PwC in 2013 Steve has built up a portfolio of varied directorships and has acted as a mentor for many aspiring NEDs.
