The workshop will consider the legal issues faced by trust service providers when administering trust and company structures with a particular focus on the conflicts of interest which can exist for directors in such multi-tiered structures. It will also consider the issues involved where another part of the group is lending to the trustee on arms’ length terms.

Jeremy specialises in commercial litigation generally, particularly cases involving contentious trust disputes and financial services businesses, along with asset tracing and freezing orders. He also advises on insolvency related matters and money laundering issues.

CHRISTOPHER EDWARDS
Partner, Mourant Ozannes

Christopher is a partner in Mourant Ozannes’ International Trust & Private Client group. Christopher specialises in complex commercial and trust litigation and provides advice to a range of financial institutions and fiduciaries, with particular expertise in large scale complex multi-jurisdictional disputes. He also has expertise in relation to cross border assistance in tax and money laundering issues.

Senior Associate, Mourant Ozannes

Matthew is a senior associate in the International Trusts & Private Clients group in Guernsey. He advises on wealth structuring and asset protection through trusts and other vehicles to trust companies, international families and high net worth individuals.
