Blowing the whistle

There remains no statutory framework in Guernsey to protect whistleblowers, this despite the UK and the Isle of Man both having had a frameworks in place for a number of years, and Jersey now having announced the proposed details of its new law earlier this year.
The session will look at both when and how whistleblowers should engage with regulators, the protections and risks that are already there, as well as considering how the new Jersey law might affect and influence businesses that have a presence in both jurisdictions.
