The themes of these events will be chosen to address current concerns which affect Non-Executive Directors and will be held approximately monthly throughout the year. A list of the forthcoming presentations can be found here.
The Forum recognises the need to be able to demonstrate ongoing training and has arranged for accredited CPD certificates to be issued to members.
This will comprise of two sections. Section 1 is a depository of speakers’ presentations as used at Forum events. Section 2 is a depository for useful third party papers obtained from a variety of sources. Members are encouraged to provide material from their contacts in addition to that sourced by the Committee.
It is key that the Forum remains independent and thereby represents the interests of its members exclusively. As such we are able to enter into dialogue with the GFSC and other Government bodies who have welcomed this opportunity. The Forum will act upon Members’ concerns and co-ordinate responses as appropriate.
NEDs thrive on their contacts and we encourage Members to take the opportunity to enhance theirs by participating at NED Forum events. Aspiring NEDs have the opportunity to meet with the experienced NEDs and learn from their experiences and be able to use the experienced NEDs as a sounding board.
